{"id":238625,"date":"2021-04-13T11:23:10","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T09:23:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maurosavio.axura.com\/?post_type=trattamenti&#038;p=238625"},"modified":"2021-05-10T14:05:09","modified_gmt":"2021-05-10T12:05:09","slug":"implantologia-computer-guidata","status":"publish","type":"trattamenti","link":"https:\/\/www.maurosavio.com\/en\/trattamenti\/implantologia-computer-guidata\/","title":{"rendered":"Computer guided implantology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When a patient needs to undergo implant surgery, if their clinical situation permits, we always use computer guided implantology (c<strong>also called guided surgery or guided dental surgery<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This technique allows implantology procedures to be carried out with a minimum of effort.<strong>ivlevel of accuracy even higher<\/strong>, making a <strong>less invasive surgery <\/strong>and, consequently, with a <strong>Lighter postoperative course.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2>Why is guided surgery more precise?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Before the operation we use a <strong>special software and a 3D CT scan to create a full-scale model of the mouth<\/strong> Of the patient with the implants already fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By being able to perform - albeit virtually - the surgery before the patient undergoes the operation, we are able to <strong>Anticipate possible complications and establish all steps of the operation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2>Why is guided surgery less invasive?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The 3D model of the patient's mouth has another important function: that of creating a surgical guide by which we can <strong>Drilling holes in the gum without the need to incise it with a scalpel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is because the surgical guide already has some <strong>holes that are placed where the implant will need to be inserted, with pinpoint accuracy<\/strong>so we don't have to open up the gum to see where to place the implants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This <strong>great advantage<\/strong> for the dentist translates into:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>a <strong>less invasive surgery without the use of a scalpel <\/strong>and often without the need for stitches.<\/li><li>a<strong> shorter intervention<\/strong> (usually one hour, whereas in traditional implantology it can take up to two or three hours)<\/li><li><strong>less pain, swelling, fever, and discomfort <\/strong>In the days following the surgery<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Computer-guided surgery also usually involves the<strong> Immediate loading of the provisional prosthesis<\/strong> that allows you to eat, talk and smile immediately in a completely natural way.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This type of implantology allows dental implants to be placed with more precision, in less time and with a less invasive operation thanks to the use of software and three-dimensional models of the patient's mouth with which to predict possible complications and establish the stages of the operation.<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":239019,"template":"","class_list":["post-238625","trattamenti","type-trattamenti","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.maurosavio.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/trattamenti\/238625","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.maurosavio.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/trattamenti"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.maurosavio.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/trattamenti"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.maurosavio.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/239019"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.maurosavio.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=238625"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
