What to eat if we have just put in fixed braces?

When a treatment of fixed orthodontics the first few weeks can be particularly troublesome because the mouth has to get used to the "newness."

There are a whole series of foods therefore that may be more difficult to chew and others that, on the other hand, accompany us more easily in this first, totally transient phase.

What to eat if we have just put in fixed braces?

🍳 Eggs
They require no effort to chew and are very nutritious


🥛 Yogurt / smoothies
Soft and cool, they relieve discomfort and do not have to be chewed


🥣 Soup / soup
The protein, vitamins, and minerals it contains help maintain health and accelerate healing of the mouth


🍤 Fish
Absolutely preferable to meat because of its much softer texture


🍒 Fruit
Peaches, bananas, blueberries, cherries, grapes to all soft fruits. Avoid crunchy fruits such as apples instead!


🥦 Vegetables
Cooked vegetables (boiled or baked) are nutritious and easy to eat even with the appliance
